Chad, 8am is a little early for me. I work midnite shift and get out of work around 7:45 in Mercer. I know a couple guys that live in New Wilmington that ride. Mike B. and John S.
I haven't been riding my road bike much this year. Still a little gun shy I guess. I rode the Washington DC to Pittsburgh bike trail last week on my mountain bike. That was an adventure. Logged 350 miles in five days, none of it on pavement.

We could ride a little later in the morning if you were interested. I have been leaving early to avoid the heat and sun, but I would love to have some company. The rest of this week looks a little sketchy with the rain. I am taking today off, but plan to ride on Thursday and Friday morning if the weather cooperates. Let me know if you can join me and we can ride at a time that works for you. Thanks for responding.

Mike Boyd and John Sammons are their names. I'll be seeing Mike on Sunday I'll see about getting some information for you. I know Mike has done some century rides and has both road and mountain bikes but I've never ridden with him yet. I know him from church.

Thanks John. I will be riding on Friday morning, then will plan on doing some weekend rides. Hopefully the weather will hold out. I would like to do 50mi on Sat or Sun. Let me know what works for you. It would be great if we could get together a larger group.
