Hey P,B & J...just wanted to remind you that the 16th of September is the Peanut Butter Festival Mtn Bike race. I think it is like 15 miles and it is start to finish. This is unlike most mtn bike races where you would be doing laps, but this one goes from pt A to pt B. It is a fun race and feels different the whole time. The course is great and I definitely think that you could win this one, you should def. attend. Plus catch up with a couple of old riders....ie....Dan Bowersox, et ux....

happy trails...oh yeah how was your mtn day in the rain. we did almost 70 in the rain on road.

Harms,
Yes, I'm seriously considering The PB Race. Thanks for the reminder.

My 'mtn. day in the rain, mud and gravel was anything but enjoyable. I don't like my new bike, especially on climbs. That race was ALL gravel road (no singletrack) and climbed the first 2.5 miles; then up, down, up, down and finished straight down in the pouring rain for the entire 5+ hours. CAN'T wait to sell the Specialized! I'll likely be riding my old bike until I can sell it and put another one together. Live and learn.
